Well, the Blurb books were a massive hit - they teared-up as they read the dedication page, and i teared-up watching them, so all in all, a great success! Less great was the flu-y cold I've had all week, so most of Christmas was spent wrapped in blankets while shivering and aching on my mother's sofa. As lovely as it always is to go back home, I am so happy to now be back in Bath. I LOVE my flat, I love having all my books around me, and oh thank the gods, i love my bed so much. I don't think I ever realised just how much of a homebody i am until yesterday afternoon as i danced and twirled - okay, it was more of a shuffle - around my flat, unpacking, lighting incense and generally cosying into my lovely nest. Four months on and Bath is now my home. *Cue a big contented sigh* Going to spend the next few days recuperating, making my e-course website and watching a lot of DVDs. Did you have a good Christmas?

Home Sweet Home... I'm glad that your family loved your blurb books - well, of course they would! They are gifts straight from your heart.
And it's nice to hear that you love your new home. Bath sounds like a beautiful, artsy city. Have you discovered a favourite cafe there yet?
Yes, I've had a very good Christmas. Lots of guests which meant several trips into New York to see the holiday sights. Now I'm thoroughly enjoying my home alone time. Ahhhh!
I hope you feel better soon, Susannah. And Happy New Year!

Most of our Christmas plans were canceled due to inclement weather...and it was okay. We had a lovely dinner with friends. Some of the presents still haven't arrived--UPS is way behind schedule.
There is nothing like being with one's mama when sick...and nothing like being in one's own bed. Quite the dilemma, huh?
Hope you are back in the hale and hardy group soon.

Your Blurb book is beautiful, such a wonderful present. I thought about doing that too, but I tend to photograph places and things instead of people, and I didn't know how meaningful that would be to my family.
Our Christmas was very quiet (snowed in) but alot of fun, complete with stuffed llamas and a Christmas breakfast feast.
I hope you are feeling better, and get over your cold soon.
My husband and I are planning a trip to England sometime in the next year or two, so I've been reading about Bath, and it sounds so lovely. I have a feeling that when we finally get over there, I will never want to leave...

I had two weeks of the flu; not pleasant. Hope you're feeling much better. Being home in one's own bed is always the best place to recuperate, isn't it? I'm not surprised your beautiful photography books were a hit with your family. Such a treasured gift, they'll always keep and remember. Happy New Year, Susannah! xo
