Two lovely things today: first, I'm very honoured to be a guest blogger over at Shutter Sisters, a photography site i simply adore. Thank you to Tracey and Karen for letting me loose on the page!
And secondly, I'm falling in love with Ane Brun this morning, a singer/songwriter from Norway. This beautiful song is working its magic in my heart.

Wow! What a beautiful voice she has.

Great post! I am inspired to blog about my film camera now, as well as possibly slapping some film in one of the many TLR's I have!
What type of film scanner do you use? Just curious if you don't mind answering. Recently, I did lots of searching on those things, but didn't come up with one I thought well enough to buy.....at least in my price range!

I've just emailed Wayfaring Wanderer, but in case anyone else was wondering, I use an Epson Perfection 4490 scanner :)

I love that photo, it is so emotive. And thank you for sharing Ane Brun! I love finding new and unusual music.

I read your blog post and enjoyed
it very much. I truly appreciated
the fact that you challenged us to
shoot with film and making each
shot count. Personally, I think my
best photos were ones that I took
using film. Thanks so much for
sharing your thoughts and talents!

Hi, I've just come across your blog from Shutter Sisters. I just love your site and thank you for the inspiration. I have been taking 35mm photos for 30 years, just for myself. Someday maybe I will do something with them. I have always thought of getting a twin-lens camera. I may have to get one soon. Do you know which one would be good for starting out. Do you find the film in a camera shop? Thanks so much.
