I've been itching to blog about this but i had to wait until my copy arrived (thank you, C!) ~ I'm in the spring 09 issue of Artful Blogging, a fabulous seven pages no less! Unfortunately it's not available in the UK so i haven't had the pleasure of seeing it on the shelves, but still, it was pretty sweet getting it through the door. There are some lovely bloggers in the issue with me, including Cori Kindred and Geninne Zlatkis, so do go get yourselves a copy and enjoy it with a mug of coffee. I guess I shouldn't be surprised at how well blogging and magazines mix, considering how blogs are like magazines in so many ways; i love the community aspect of blogging; i love having a magazine in my hands and pages to touch. Yes, it's the perfect mix :)

That's fantastic, Susannah! I'm thrilled for you and can't wait to get my hands on this latest issue.
By the way, I get it from The Stamp Attic, a UK online shop which, among other things, sell all the Stampington publications, including Artful Blogging. The magazines are usually available from their site two weeks after their US release.

Oh, the idea of sitting down in a comfy chair with a blog to hand (and a cup of something hot in the other) sounds blissful.

On having a very rough morning at the office yesterday, I decided to spend my lunch in a quiet corner of the nearby coffee shop. Before I bought my very large caramel, skim, latte, I browsed through the magazine rack. Somehow the bright blue cover of Artful Blogging, a magazine I never heard of before, caught my eye. I took it over to the couch in the corner with my giant cup of coffee and haven't stopped reading it since. Your's is my favorite so far. I have now started a blog, and hopefully with a little nurturing, it will grow into the photographic/art journal I've always known is inside of me. Thank you for your inspiring energy.
