i just knew no. 3 was central park - i've spent many an hour reading on those benches.

Here too. We have had freezing fog for the last few days and it is incredibly grey and quite cold outside. While the low fog has a lovely quality to it, it also feels as though it permeates in the worst possible (and cold) way. These images are beautiful...as is the new screen saver (thank you).I wrote a piece late into the night last night that really had me reeling by the end of it, so this message is a welcomed one this morning. xoxoxo

I just walked from the tube with snow flurries falling around me. Now I have hot tea and a cashmere blanket and your lovely images to warm me up :)

What beauty leading into February, a month so deeply weighted in winter. I've promised myself to spend the month with breath. and being. and to that, I now add the phrase, "you are loved"

Marianne

It sometimes hits me how much the seasons affects our cycles in life when I spend time visiting other people's blogs. For all those months when I was blogging in Afghanistan I was on the same seasonal cycle to you - now it is completely upside down and it really feels quite odd. Beautiful image and yes, "You are so loved".

Lovely photos here.
I know what you mean, summer feels very far away. But on the bright side, mornings are starting to get lighter every day - at least in Bergen - and it makes me smile.

Carol

I've shared the last two rotten summers with you... I am SO hoping that we will experience a summer this year. Of course the snow is falling today :-) Gotta love this British weather.

Peace
