It's going to be a weekend of family love: tonight I'm going to an exhibition opening in Bristol with my sister, then staying the night with her, ready for some serious studio creating (and possible carbooting) tomorrow. Then on Sunday my mum is coming to visit and we'll be having a lovely Sunday lunch together before going on a Polaroid safari (her suggestion - i love my mum). I'm so thankful for the family i have; we may be small but we love each other fiercely.
So for TGI Friday this week I'm trusting that my hormones will calm down soon and I'll be able to step off the rollercoaster. I'm also trusting that everything will go smoothly with the enrollments for my next session of Unravelling (stay tuned!)
I'm grateful for my family and friends, and for the internet that keeps me connected with so many amazing people.

My garden inspired me this week - as I'm fast approaching a horticultural exam and frantically revising and panicking, just walking round my garden stills the nerves and calms the soul. In it's early summer bloom, it makes me realise that I CAN do this.
