[The 20-second portrait. A little experiment]
Marisa over at Creative Thursday has set herself a 30-day challenge to post videos on her blog - it's the curse of the e-course. You see, you make videos for your students and suddenly you convince yourself that it'd be so easy to share some on your regular blog. I've been feeling it too, so on seeing Marisa's brave move i felt emboldened to do the same. However, i didn't factor in that a) i have no words today and b) my premenstrosity* is pouring out of every pore and it's hard to do things properly when in that head space. So here, instead, is the 20-second animated portrait i managed.... I'm working up to the words.
* a made-up word, but right on the money, non?

God. A GREAT word. Maybe that is why I am a blubbery crybaby this week. Although the premenstrosity (that's a hard word to type) monster has just recently technically moved away from me, I'm still feeling it. And PS - this video made me laugh. Thank you! :)

You are just so darned cute, I cannot stand it! Premenstrosity or not!
Wow ... a video challenge ... funny, I was thinking I missed making my little Unravelling videos, but that is such a safe place ... I will have to ponder this a bit. I am ALL ABOUT a 30 day transformation though ... hmmm ...
Still buzzing and humming away in my little madhouse of art and dog and child. Maybe I need to show the mess?
Love you and am sending chocolate-filled hugs to smooth your day ...

Premenstrosity is the best word I've heard for AGES.

Now that's just the word I was looking for. Though mine comes with bad skin.

You are a genuis - premenstrosity is the best new word I've come across in a long time.
I wanted to leap through the screen with a pot of redbush tea and settle in on the couch for a while. We could be monstrous together.

That was awesome---to me, that actually seemed scarier than Marisa talking (I follow Creative Thursday too)---it's just so personal to be silent. Well, both seem scary. I'm looking forward to hearing your words!

I feel like I'm missing out by not being in the Unravelling course!
This is fabulous, Susannah.

Giggle. Wish I could pop over today for tea - sounds like we BOTH need it!
Love to your brave self.

Well, once I find someone to help me set up my (finally) high-speed Internet connex, I shall enjoy as everyone else certainly has!
Cheers,
